Building Progress Pics

img_0589.JPGWhile these are the most up-to-date pictures we have of the progress down at the new church, I thought I’d at least give those of you who haven’t yet journeyed there a glimpse of what’s going on. Certainly one of the most impressive architectural feats of the project is the extraordinary span in the main sanctuary. Foreman Jim Clark and Jim Shaw have impressed us all with the installation and support system; their hard work and tireless attention to detail are very encouraging.

With the first Work Day this past Saturday now in the books, a great deal more has been accomplished, including much of the floor framing, sheet rocking of the lobby, and massive demolition to various parts of the structure. Over 40 men came out to lend a hand, giving of their time, energy and talents. We can not say “thank you” enough to the wonderful families we have here at New Life.

I’ll be updating the website shortly with more pictures of the progress, ones which we hope you’ll share wit your friends and family as they stand with us in prayer and support of this exciting adventure!

Thanks for reading!
