The word of God tells us that satan is a liar and their is no truth in him. In fact he is the father of lies. The word also tells us that he is the author of confusion. As I was driving to work this morning I came to a four way intersection. There was a stop sign for my side and the side directly across from me. As I sat staring at the car at the stop sign across from me he didn’t seem to want to go. I was looking into his face for him to motion to me to go, but nothing. Then I said, well I’m going; as I glanced to my left while starting into the intersection to turn left a truck was coming right at me. He slammed on his breaks as I barley got out of his way. satan does the same thing to you and I daily. We get so focused on the car across from us and take off without checking to see what is coming from the other directions. Today satan desires to keep your attention, focus, strength, time, peace and spiritual gifts on something that really doesn’t matter in compared to eternity. He is the authority of confusion to the point that we don’t know; whether to go or stay still. We don’t know whether to make a decision or wait a life time thinking it will just happen without our input. Don’t let satan keep your focus today. Focus on the author and finisher of your faith today; Jesus Christ. Focus on the joy of the Lord that is your strength today. Focus on, this is the day that God has made for you to enjoy and prosper in. Don’t allow the enemy to cause tunnel vision to the point of causing a collision in your walk with the Lord and others. Focus on God for today he is focused on you.
