God’s Vision of Perfection
I’m reading a book titled, “Overcoming Barriers to Growth” by Pastor Michael Fletcher. One of his quotes that I love so much is “you can’t go where you can’t see.” This book is all about being made aware of the vision verses seeing the vision. You see so many times we are made aware of the vision; but we rarely see the vision. Being aware of the vision is like always being on the sidelines; but seeing the vision puts you on the playing field. As I was driving to work this morning God’s Spirit spoke the strangest thing to me. He said David you are my vision of perfection. I quickly thought this can’t be God for I see myself and I’m nowhere close to perfection. But then the quote came back to me; you can’t go where you can’t see. God said, I see you through the blood of my Son. I see you through my eyes of what I created you to be. I see you in the resurrection and power of my perfection; Now!!!! You see on the way to work God made me aware of how he sees me; now it’s up to me to see myself in the vision of perfection he does. Perfection is not saying we have no faults or never sin. As our Pastor Kirk would say; what I love most about the church is it’s made up of those who sometimes fall, but they have a heart to get up and still come to church and seek God despite their failures and short comings. So today let me encourage you as God has so encouraged me. You are his favorite. You are his beloved. You are his most cherished. You are, God’s Vision of Perfection today. Remember you can’t go where you can’t see. In the Name of Jesus Christ; see it even now!!!
Thanks for listening, Pastor David

What a great word! We do need to see ourselves like Jesus sees us. Sometimes it is easier to see others through the blood of Christ then to see ourselves. So today, I am determined to see myself as the finished product that Christ bled and died for. Thank you for your faithfulness to share your heart.
