Read Revelations For Yourself

It is probably the least of all books in the bible that the believer reads.  It is probably the least of all books of the bible preachers; preach on.  Why?  Because most believers feel it is so mysterious; and if they are to get anything from this book surely it has to come from a pastor or a teacher.  Let’s get rid of the lies surrounding this book of the bible.  God would not have put this final book in his word which only could be taught by a priest, pastor or someone we perceive as super spiritual.  Yes, God does use these people to preach, teach, and shed some light on the scriptures; but the Holy Spirit of God that is within you is still the greatest teacher of his word.  And by the way where is it that says we have to understand the whole picture or none of it at all?  God desires every believer to read the book of Revelations for themselves and chew on the things you are permitted to understand and let go of the things you don’t.  Revelations is the only book of the bible that says; Blessed is he who reads, hears, and keeps the words of this prophesy.  For the time of this prophesy is at hand.  Read about the warning to the seven churches, the book of the seven seals, the seven trumpets, and the seven vials or bowls.  Now you know why some have referred to The Book of Revelations as The Book of Sevens.  Revelations was never meant to be a book to be feared, never read, or so mysterious that we could never understand.  It was and will continue to be God’s book, he has given to his children to embrace and receive that which he allows us to understand, heed to, and grow from.  Read the book of Revelations and rejoice in what our God will reveal to you through his word this day.

Thanks for listening, Pastor David
