I’d appreciate if you would read this email entirely. This is not one of the Nigeria (I found out you’re a distant relative worth millions of dollars) emails. However, I do believe it could really help both of us.

The other day one of our church members walked up to me with an idea. It was one of those times that you really believe Divine Wisdom is being given to you and can affect many, many lives. As most of you know, we are in a church building project and are almost completely finished. We are now purchasing the last number of items needed, including the chairs for the sanctuary. This member said, “can you imagine if we could reach out to those in the Body of Christ and ask them to buy one chair with the thought that they would pray for what God is doing in Jefferson County New York and we in turn would commit to pray for them.”

At that point I received an expansion of the idea and a picture in my mind. Think about it with me. What if we took the names of each person, business, church, political figure, etc that gave and put an engraved name tag on the back of each chair? Can you imagine the enormous significance? Our Sanctuary would be totally represented by other families, businesses and churches, etc around the world – it would be powerful! And we would all be praying for them as well.

So, I’m asking you to consider the following:

The cost per chair is around $60.00 (chair, shipping, engraving). Can you send us this amount with your name, city and state (or country). I really don’t want you sending us $500.00 or any amount like that with a memo that says, “for chairs” I want it to be specific. You can obviously buy two or three chairs (one for family, one for church, one for your business) – but please do so under the following guidelines:

You will pray for our church in the name of each name you send.
You understand we will pray for you as well over the many years the chairs will be in use.

You must understand this is not a fundraiser per se – this is totally a Kingdom Idea. This is all about representation – so please understand it with that in mind.

I’m praying for an enormous outflow of the Kingdom by this “small” idea presented to me. Please pray and consider the same. Could you also do us one other favor? We really want U.S and World representation. Could you send this to every person on your email list that you think would “jump: at this? That would really help. Thanks!
