Children & Nursery
The children (ages 4-10) are dismissed from the Sunday service following the praise and worship. They then proceed to the Life Kid’s theater for their “own special sermon”. Kids’ Church is under the direction of Leah Woodkirk. Leah has a great compassion for our future teachers, preachers, parents, and presidents. She has been involved in children’s ministry for the last seven years. Her hope is that by the time your child has completed Kids’ Church, they will have the confidence to read and search the Bible for themselves, that every child will have an awesome heart for praise, and that they appreciate that Christ in them is the Light of the World.

WEDNESDAY KIDS MINISTRIES (Ages 2yrs-12yrs)
Every Wednesday evening (7:00pm to 8:30pm, September through May) The Kids’ Church Theatre becomes a beehive of activity! The children come ready to jump, sing, & shout! We are currently using the Royal Ranger and Missionettes program (with a few embellishments) which the children love. NURSERY (Ages 6mos-3yrs)
New Life Christian Church offers a supervised nursery during our Sunday service. The nursery is temporarily located within the conference room of the office wing while the future nursery is still under construction. For safety reasons we do require that all children are dropped off and picked up by a parent or guardian.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
For several years Patty Jennings has directed a large group of volunteers to offer Vacation Bible School not only to our own children at NLCC, but to the children in our communities. Last year 70% of the children were from the community. Patty always comes up with a great curriculum and embellishes it with a lot of fun activities. The children love it! So do the adults that are helping. One year she even had Pastor Gilchrist singing an opera selection in a skit! You just had to have been there!
We encourage you to become involved. It is a wonderful opportunity and very rewarding.
