As I was in loving praise unto my God just now he spoke these words to me. “Everything is going to be alright.” It amazes me how God sees everything; even those things which we are not even aware of at the time. For I was giving such praise and adoration to him and wasn’t asking for anything of myself. If fact I believe that this statement was spoken especially for you; the reader. Yes, everything is going to be alright. Don’t be confused by this statement though. Our wants, needs, and our interpretation of alright may be different from his mind in your situation. Regardless of what we see, feel, or hear God is in control and he is touched, by your struggles in life. He is still on the throne and that will never change. He is still all powerful, all knowing, and all loving. He is still the light that causes the darkness to run. He is still the giant slayer in and through your life this day. He is still your everything and; “Everything Is Going To Be Alright.” Even before you asked I answered and while you yet spoke I heard thee. Faithful is he that has called you in this life who also will do that which is in his mind concerning you and yours this day.

Thanks for listening, Pastor David

There’s physical weakness, mental weakness, emotional weakness, and spiritual weakness that is defeating God’s people daily. Before me and my dog (Capone) left for our run through Watertown, I put on my army dog tags so that if I passed out on the run somebody would know who I was. By God’s strength I didn’t, but my dog Capone was really struggling and needed quit a bit of motivation to finish. Today God doesn’t just give you motivation; but even more so he gives you his strength and his power. The strength of God; of his Spirit lives in you and I this day if you are his child. It is the power of God, that empowers you to stand, fight, endure and overcome that which you face this day. For it’s not by your might or your power but by the God’s strength you are an overcomer. We grow weary, we grow older and weaker from the daily challenges of life, but God is faithful to again strengthen that which is weak. During my run yesterday several times I wanted to stop but each time I would say, “God help me cause I’m about to die, help me Jesus!!!!” Even though I was saying this as a mixture of faith and humor something within me wouldn’t was happening. Something wouldn’t let me stop until I finished what I started and reached the finish line. And with all the more important things in this world that God has to minister too; he took time to strengthen this body of clay so I could make it home. Today your God loves you dearly and cares about the weaknesses your suffering; no matter how small or great they are. Trust him, hope in him, and be empowered with his strength, even now. Feeling A Little Weak? God’s strength is available; His strength and power is yours.

Thanks for listening, Pastor David

It is probably the least of all books in the bible that the believer reads. It is probably the least of all books of the bible preachers; preach on. Why? Because most believers feel it is so mysterious; and if they are to get anything from this book surely it has to come from a pastor or a teacher. Let’s get rid of the lies surrounding this book of the bible. God would not have put this final book in his word which only could be taught by a priest, pastor or someone we perceive as super spiritual. Yes, God does use these people to preach, teach, and shed some light on the scriptures; but the Holy Spirit of God that is within you is still the greatest teacher of his word. And by the way where is it that says we have to understand the whole picture or none of it at all? God desires every believer to read the book of Revelations for themselves and chew on the things you are permitted to understand and let go of the things you don’t. Revelations is the only book of the bible that says; Blessed is he who reads, hears, and keeps the words of this prophesy. For the time of this prophesy is at hand. Read about the warning to the seven churches, the book of the seven seals, the seven trumpets, and the seven vials or bowls. Now you know why some have referred to The Book of Revelations as The Book of Sevens. Revelations was never meant to be a book to be feared, never read, or so mysterious that we could never understand. It was and will continue to be God’s book, he has given to his children to embrace and receive that which he allows us to understand, heed to, and grow from. Read the book of Revelations and rejoice in what our God will reveal to you through his word this day.

In Hebrews chapter 4 it tells that there still remains a rest for the people of God. Just as God created the world and all therein in six days and rested on the seventh; so it must be with us. There is a rest for our soul, our mind, and our spirit. There is the peace of God, that passes all understanding; that passes all the confusion and the turmoil this life has to put on us at times. God’s word tells us that when we enter into the rest he has for us that it shows we have chosen to stop fighting in our own power, mind and strength. His word also warns us that unless we enter into the rest of God; that we are in danger of entering into disbelief because our efforts without his rest is the road to unbelief. So what is his rest? Good question, but the answer is different for each individual. His rest for me is to just stop at any given moment when I feel overwhelmed and fall on my knees and just begin to praise him and cry out to him. His rest for me is meditating on his word and the promises of who I am in his eyes. His rest for me is that he truly see’s all and he knows my end even before my beginning. His rest for me is trusting in God when I don’t see it. Hoping in God when I don’t feel him. And walking with God when giving up is so much easier. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, I pray the peace and rest of God over you, even now. Remember God worked six days and then stopped the work of his hands and rested on the seventh day. This is your seventh day. It’s time to take a break; in God. Now close your eyes; close your mind and rest my child.

Thanks for listening, Pastor David

God has shown me in these past few years of my life that I really can’t appreciate eternal life unless I have an understanding of eternal death. My spiritual conciseness will not allow me to enjoy the blessings of God fully; without sharing with the needed, the hungry, the lost and the hopeless; what my Great God can be for them. It’s so strange but yet something that is within me says; you can have your cake and eat it too. But unless you have a heart to share it then it will be sweet in your mouth and yet bitter in your stomach. We who have become a church of spiritual self preservation forget so easily, that we all were children of darkness at one time until God’s light came to us. Thousands upon thousands are entering into an eternal death daily and yet the impact of such a event has little remorse or thought in the life of the common believer. It’s no longer a question of what more can I do or am I doing anything at all? It’s a realization that; For God so gave love the world that he gave his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. It’s the realization that when the focus is, I want more and more of God. I want more and more of his blessings and favor. I want…. then the focus will never be on the eternal souls that our being sent to a hell’s fire even as we speak. Being thankful for what God has done for you and will continue to do for you. Will only be spiritual comprehended fully when our heart longs for the same if not more, for others. Getting past the blessings.

Thanks for listening, Pastor David

Your help was greatly appreciated!

Things are now heading into full swing at the new church building site. Momentum is picking up and it seems that everyday something new is begun. It’s really exciting to see things starting to take shape and if you haven’t been down to the building lately, we encourage you to do so.

“The Two Jims” continue to do a tremendous job overseeing all the activity, and both Justin Wagoner and Justin Scott have been indispensable. Pat Saumier has his team in doing more drywall. Bob Brola and his son Rob have been working on plumbing while Joseph, Ephraim, Joel and the rest of Justin W’s crew have been doing whatever needs doing!

The most notable advances this week have been in the framing in the offices. All the electric and communications infrastructure will be finished by the end of the week. Other notable building additions include the trim work in the sanctuary and the floors and bathrooms in the Nursery Wing and the Children’s Church Wing.

Thanks again for all your prayers and support!

Pastor Christopher

I’m reading a book titled, “Overcoming Barriers to Growth” by Pastor Michael Fletcher. One of his quotes that I love so much is “you can’t go where you can’t see.” This book is all about being made aware of the vision verses seeing the vision. You see so many times we are made aware of the vision; but we rarely see the vision. Being aware of the vision is like always being on the sidelines; but seeing the vision puts you on the playing field. As I was driving to work this morning God’s Spirit spoke the strangest thing to me. He said David you are my vision of perfection. I quickly thought this can’t be God for I see myself and I’m nowhere close to perfection. But then the quote came back to me; you can’t go where you can’t see. God said, I see you through the blood of my Son. I see you through my eyes of what I created you to be. I see you in the resurrection and power of my perfection; Now!!!! You see on the way to work God made me aware of how he sees me; now it’s up to me to see myself in the vision of perfection he does. Perfection is not saying we have no faults or never sin. As our Pastor Kirk would say; what I love most about the church is it’s made up of those who sometimes fall, but they have a heart to get up and still come to church and seek God despite their failures and short comings. So today let me encourage you as God has so encouraged me. You are his favorite. You are his beloved. You are his most cherished. You are, God’s Vision of Perfection today. Remember you can’t go where you can’t see. In the Name of Jesus Christ; see it even now!!!

Thanks for listening, Pastor David

God’s word found in his holy bible still has the answers to our hearts cry. The desperation of our heart for a now word is still found within it’s pages for such a time as this. No matter the seriousness of our condition or situation; God’s wisdom, comfort and guidance is still found in the reading of his word. In a world filled with just feed me I’ll eat anything or believe anything God’s word is quickly becoming more and more of something we only hear a couple times a week, if that. The busyness of life will not slow down and the challenges will not likely to get easier; so therefore we must safeguard the hunger in our hearts to want to pray and read God’s word daily. The Dr. Phil’s, Opera’s, Tyra Banks and all the other daytime so called counselors and do good-ers are not what your life and soul needs. It’s the daily communion of prayer with your creator, God and his word being poured into you mind, soul and spirit. No where is it written, nor will it ever be written or said that the words of these daily talk shows shall last forever. But in God’s word it does say, though the grass whither’s and the flower fades the word of the Lord God shall stand forever. I pray God’s hunger for prayer and the reading of his word over you and I even now. Blessed be his Holy name. Who was and is and is to come. Today he longs to come to you. Draw close unto God today and he shall draw close to you. Getting back to the basics of praying and reading the bible. That’s eternal counseling.
