“Everything”

As I was in loving praise unto my God just now he spoke these words to me.  “Everything is going to be alright.”  It amazes me how God sees everything; even those things which we are not even aware of at the time.  For I was giving such praise and adoration to him and wasn’t asking for anything of myself.  If fact I believe that this statement was spoken especially for you; the reader.  Yes, everything is going to be alright.  Don’t be confused by this statement though.  Our wants, needs, and our interpretation of alright may be different from his mind in your situation.  Regardless of what we see, feel, or hear God is in control and he is touched, by your struggles in life.  He is still on the throne and that will never change.  He is still all powerful, all knowing, and all loving.  He is still the light that causes the darkness to run.  He is still the giant slayer in and through your life this day.  He is still your everything and; “Everything Is Going To Be Alright.”  Even before you asked I answered and while you yet spoke I heard thee.  Faithful is he that has called you in this life who also will do that which is in his mind concerning you and yours this day.

Feeling A Little Weak?

There’s physical weakness, mental weakness, emotional weakness, and spiritual weakness that is defeating God’s people daily.  Before me and my dog (Capone) left for our run through Watertown, I put on my army dog tags so that if I passed out on the run somebody would know who I was.  By God’s strength I didn’t, but my dog Capone was really struggling and needed quit a bit of motivation to finish.  Today God doesn’t just give you motivation; but even more so he gives you his strength and his power.  The strength of God; of his Spirit lives in you and I this day if you are his child.  It is the power of God, that empowers you to stand, fight, endure and overcome that which you face this day.  For it’s not by your might or your power but by the God’s strength you are an overcomer.  We grow weary, we grow older and weaker from the daily challenges of life, but God is faithful to again strengthen that which is weak.  During my run yesterday several times I wanted to stop but each time I would say, “God help me cause I’m about to die, help me Jesus!!!!”  Even though I was saying this as a mixture of faith and humor something within me wouldn’t was happening.  Something wouldn’t let me stop until I finished what I started and reached the finish line.  And with all the more important things in this world that God has to minister too; he took time to strengthen this body of clay so I could make it home.  Today your God loves you dearly and cares about the weaknesses your suffering; no matter how small or great they are.  Trust him, hope in him, and be empowered with his strength, even now.  Feeling A Little Weak?  God’s strength is available; His strength and power is yours.
